Inside Term.

A place for each session.

Open independent terminals, arrange up to four panes and organize sessions into named groups. Saved hosts keep remote connections easy to find.

Move between files and commands.

Browse local files and connected SFTP folders. Preview supported text files, then upload or download with explicit transfer controls.

Keep agents in view.

Launch detected coding CLIs in their own terminals. Claude Code and Codex have supported telemetry integrations; other launch shortcuts do not imply equivalent state, context or resume support.

Secrets by reference.

The Vault gives sensitive values a named reference. Keep project and global scopes separate; explicitly reveal a value when you need it. Secret handling reduces accidental exposure, not every possible leak.

A secret has a name.
Keep its value private.

Project references make the Vault a useful companion to your terminal workflow.

  1. Add a value through the Vault dialog: hodani add API_TOKEN --dialog.
  2. Use its named reference: hodani://project/API_TOKEN.
  3. Keep access scoped to the project. Reveal the value explicitly when you need it.

The Vault helps reduce accidental secret exposure. It is not an isolation boundary for untrusted commands, and does not make external coding agents local.

Before you begin.

What you’ll need
Apple Silicon · macOS 15.0 or later. Coding agents require their own installed CLI and authentication. SSH and SFTP require a reachable host and your credentials.
Current boundaries
CLI discovery may miss unusual install locations or shell-only aliases. Detection does not mean a provider is authenticated. Restoring a layout does not restore a running process or reconnect automatically. Conversation resume depends on the provider and available session data.
Privacy & connections
Local shell sessions do not require a Hodani cloud service. SSH and SFTP connect to the hosts you choose. Third-party coding agents may send prompts, files and other data to their own services; their policies and settings apply. Term does not make those agents local-only.

Early access.
Clearly labeled.

Every Hodani app is still in development. There are no final releases yet.

Alpha — Tray, Dictation, Term, Quicktools, Calls and Notebooks. Early builds; features and compatibility may be incomplete.

Beta — Pulse, Capture and Notes. Available to try and still being refined.

Downloads are for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later. Keep backups of important work.
